Ravishing and entrancing new triple bill from international choreographers. Wales’s national dance company make a welcome return to His Majesty’s Theatre with an exhilarating programme of dance that will be a spectacular finale to DanceLive.
Twelve dancers perform three compelling and exciting works, showcasing the best in international contemporary dance. A double bill by world-famous choreographer Ohad Naharin contrasts a hypnotic female duet set to Ravel’s famous music in B/olero with the physically dramatic tribal dance of Black Milk. Quixoteland, by internationally-renowned Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, is a dynamic and emotionally intense comical modern interpretation of the story of Don Quixote by Cervantes, while Phantoms Of Us is a powerful new work from Eleesha Drennan, accompanied by evocative visuals from artist Sue Williams.
